Once a month, the church does a collection for charity instead of for its own expenses. We haven’t done this since the beginning of the pandemic lockdown but we feel it’s time to start again. For this month, the managing committee have elected to give its charity collection to the Dublin Unitarian Refugee Welcome Committee – an inhouse project looking to raise money to sponsor refugee families on their arrival in ireland and during their first days here.
