Dublin Unitarian Church presents
Spring Journey 2015
A musical voyage to warm you up after the cold winter !!!
In 2009, the Unitarian Church on St. Stephen’s Green in the city centre of Dublin unveiled ambitioius plans to restore and upgrade their 1911 JW Walker pipe organ to bring it to the highest modern recital and worship standards under the craftsmanship of Irish organbuilder Trevor Crowe. Since then, the congregation have worked hard to raise €250,000 to finance this work. They are making good headway but there is a little more to be done. The actual work will be finished in September 2015.
In 2014, the Spring Journey concert season was started as a presentation of high quality music in a relaxed, enjoyable setting – all capped off by the satisfaction of raising money for this worthy cause. The musicians are not household names but they are more than worth hearing. You will want to come back and hear them again. It was successful and the second season runs from February through May 2015. We invite you to support by attending one or more of the concerts, or helping us spread the word in the media, online or by word of mouth.
