At the start of December 2020, new measures were announced by the Irish Government and the HSE to reflect the changing shape of the pandemic in Ireland. In line with this, we are pleased to announce news of a gradually reopening church on St. Stephen’s Green.
Wednesday 9th December and all Wednesdays after
This Wednesday, 9th December, there will be a lunchtime service of reflection led by Pam McCarthy in the church. This starts just after 1pm and the church will broadcast this on its Zoom feed. To access, click on the link just before 1pm. These services will then continue weekly. This Wednesday service will be podcasted as the daily reflection on Thursday morning.
Sunday 13th December
Our Sunday service on 13th December will be a joint service with 4th Universalist Society of New York City and Cork Unitarian Church. The service will be conducted online and, in Irish time, will commence at 4pm. To access it via Zoom, go to www.4thu.org and follow the instructions on the homepage.
Sunday 20th December and all Sundays after
Friday 25th December
Once we are moved back into the church, the service will still be broadcast online. As of now, this is via our Zoom feed – see above. If you can’t make it to church or would prefer to view online but still wish to contribute to collection, we are taking donations via Paypal to assist with the running of the church. If you would like to donate, click here.
We look forward to things settling again and attendance at church being easier as we make our way through 2021. For now, as always, our priority is keeping congregation and friends safe and secure inside the building. We ask those attending services to follow the guidance given by stewards at all times when in the church building. Thanks you.
