Ardú Spring Journey concert tonight postponed to Saturday March 19th

Both Ardú and Dublin Unitarian Church are sorry to announce that tonight’s Spring Journey concert has had to be rescheduled to Saturday 19th March at 8pm due to illness of one of the members of the group. The church will be in touch with you if you have pre-ordered tickets and original tickets will be valid on the revised date. Alternatively, we are happy to offer a refund. Sorry for the extra e-mail but it was important to us to get word out nice and quickly to save people beginning their journey before being aware of the situation.

A statement from Ardú

“We are sorry to announce that tonight’s concert at the Dublin Unitarian Church as part of their Spring Journey Concert Series has been postponed until March 19th.
Being a professional singer means that we are at the mercy of our own physical health and although Ardú prides ourselves in being a flexible and reactive ensemble, the health of our singers is of the utmost importance.

Our soprano Vicky has unfortunately come down with a terrible combination of tonsillitis and glandular fever, and despite her determination to perform with the group, it would not be fair on Vicky, Ardú or our audience to expect the concert to go ahead.

We hope that you will join us on March 19th for a fully fit Ardú, and apologise for any inconvenience. If you purchased a ticket for the event it will still be valid on the new date. Alternatively, contact the Unitarian Church for a full refund.

We’d like to thank Josh at the Church for his understanding qne assistance, and wish Vicky a speedy recovery!”

We wish Vicky a speedy recovery too.

Best wishes,

Josh Johnston
Dublin Unitarian Church
