Church Clubs & Groups Meeting in December 2015

Walking Club
The Walking Club walk in Rathdrum this weekend is cancelled due to Marcus being out of action after an operation. Marcus leads the club who like to get out and walk places roughly once a month through the year.

Marcus will keep in touch with the group regarding when he is up and moving again. Please make contact with him at email hidden; JavaScript is required if you’d like to join them for their walks or would like more information.

Book Club
The Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of the month (30th December this month) in the St. Stephen’s Green Hotel at 7.45pm.. This month they are reading
The Missing Shade Of Blue by Jennie Erdal.

The club greatly enjoys welcoming new members.

Publications

The church have published two volumes of all issues of Oscailt published in 2005 and 2006. These are available from the church directly for €15 each.

Eleanor’s concert at The Unitarian Church, St Stephens Green on Sunday December 13th will signal the conclusion to the first leg of her Forever Young tour which will have run through the tail end of 2015 to promote the release in September of her new CD release of the same name.  Given the concert is perfectly positioned in the Christmas season there is a strong possibility that Eleanor & her band will be joined during the concert by a surprise guest, or two also !

Paul Hourican – Sea Change

Dublin singer and songwriter Paul Hourican launches his new album ‘Sea-Change’ with acoustic renderings of the album’s tracks along with some special guests. Mince Pies and mulled wine will be served in a night filled with festive cheer with all proceeds going to help Dublin’s homeless this Christmas.
